• FYI: using our Booking System is MUCH EASIER on a computer/laptop (rather than phones/tablets)
• Petra's Booking System accepts Visa/Mastercard only (Amex/Diners etc not possible, sorry)
• Click through and complete the whole process on the Booking Request Form
• Take care to enter your credit card details correctly, with sufficient funds available*
• The Total Accommodation Tariff Payment Due is required to secure your booking, as per Current Rates Table
• Previous Petra Guests - if you are using the same email address, you will have an account which auto-fills your personal details. If you have lost your login details > please "click to reset your password" on the Booking Form. The Total Accommodation Tariff due, is required to secure your booking.

WHEN YOU 'REQUEST A BOOKING'...

• We process Booking Requests within 24 hours (often more quickly), where your requested dates/chalet are still available. If your dates/chalet are no longer available, we will be in touch to advise alternative availability.
• The Accommodation Tariff payable will be deducted from your supplied credit card (Visa/Mastercard only)
• Your booking is secured when we process your booking including successful credit card payment
  • The current Petra Website Chalet Rates and applicable charges will apply, as at the date of Booking Request (unless otherwise agreed). We suggest checking our Chalet Rates Table on the day of submitting your Booking Request Form, and previous email correspondence.
  • Petra reserves the right to charge the applicable Current Rates as at the date of Requesting a Booking. Any rates/tariffs previously quoted by Petra by email or phone may not apply (depending on the 'time gap' between enquiring and booking).
    Petra uses leading payment gateway CBA's eWAY, who manage the complex routing of sensitive customer information through the electronic credit card processing networks to ensure the privacy of your sensitive cardholder data.
  • *An additional admin fee of $10-20 applies IF payment is declined and/or we need to reprocess/complete payment manually by phone. If you receive a declined payment notification, you can avoid this admin fee by Requesting your Booking online again
  • NOTE: never email your credit card details to us or anyone, as this is unsafe (due to email hacking).

BOOKING CONFIRMATION EMAIL

• Once we process your booking/payment, you will receive a BOOKING CONFIRMATION EMAIL which you will need for your arrival at Petra Estate
• Please SAVE/PRINT prior to arrival as this email includes...
  • Directions to Petra Estate and to your unit/chalet
  • Door Entry Key Code and Instructions to enter your unit/chalet
  • Self Check-in : any time from 2pm (door entry keypads are activated at 2pm)
  • Checkout: by 10am sharp 
  • Our phone number - please SAVE our phone number in your phone in case we need to contact you by phone

ONLINE SECURITY
Petra takes online security seriously! Therefore, Petra's Booking System requires several steps to ensure the highest protection of your personal data/information (more time consuming but much safer than many other online booking systems). Booking System Improvement quotes (to make quicker/easier) range from $100-180K. For the time being, we have made the conscious decision to apply any "revenue funds" to continuing to provide High Standard Accommodation & Farm Produce (rather than update IT systems). We feel confident that our lovely Accommodation Guests, Farm Shop & Shop Online Customers will understand and appreciate this decision. We are continuing to investigate better (cost-effective) online booking options, that will maintain our high security standards, and enable us to keep our Accommodation Rates as attractive as possible.
