- Petra's Booking System accepts Visa/Mastercard only (Amex/Diners etc not possible, sorry)
- Total Tariff Payment required to secure your booking, as per Current Rates Table
- We recommend using a computer (rather than phones/tablets) to use our Booking System. Please ensure you click through and complete the whole process, taking care to enter your credit card details correctly, with sufficient funds available* 
- Although our Booking System is a bit clumsy, this is because we maintain the very highest levels of security (for your protection). We are currently investigating more user-friendly online booking systems that will enable us to continue to offer attractive Accommodation Rates, and maintain the highest online security standards.
- If your requested booking dates/chalet are not available, we will be in touch to advise alternative availability.

When you 'Request a Booking'...

• If your dates/preferred chalet are (still) available, we will process your booking asap (normally within 24 hours)
• The Total Tariff payable will be deducted from your supplied credit card (visa/mastercard only).
• Your booking is secured when we process your booking and successful credit card payment.
• The current Petra Website Chalet Rates and additional charges will apply, as at the date of Booking Request (unless otherwise agreed). We suggest always checking our Chalet Rates Table on the day of submitting your Booking Request Form. Petra reserves the right to charge the applicable Current Rates as at the date of Requesting a Booking. Any rates/tariffs previously quoted by Petra by email or phone may not apply (depending on the 'time gap' between enquiring and booking).
• To avoid any additional admin/transaction fees*, please enter your card details CAREFULLY, and ensure sufficient funds are available.
• *Using the Booking Request Form requires a valid Visa/Mastercard credit card with sufficient funds available. Please take care to enter your card details correctly. An additional admin fee of $10-20 applies IF your payment is declined and/or we need to reprocess/complete payment manually by phone. To avoid this admin fee, please Request a Booking online again, taking care to enter your credit card details correctly, and ensure funds are available. NOTE: please don't email your credit card details as this is unsafe (due to email hacking). Petra uses leading payment gateway CBA's eWAY, who manage the complex routing of sensitive customer information through the electronic credit card processing networks to ensure the privacy of your sensitive cardholder data.

• Immediately after we process your booking payment, you will receive a BOOKING CONFIRMATION EMAIL which you will need for your arrival at Petra Estate! This email includes directions to the property and your unit, as well as a DOOR ENTRY KEY CODE which you will need to enter your chalet (Check-in any time after 2pm; Checkout by 10am). If you do not receive this BOOKING CONFIRMATION EMAIL, please check your spam/junk folder, or phone us.
• Your booking is only secured once successful payment is processed. Thereafter, you will receive a Booking Confirmation Email with all the information you need for your arrival at Petra Estate!

We apologise in advance that our Booking System is not sophisticated. Website Improvement quotes to update/change/improve the booking system range from $100-180K. For the time being, we have made the conscious decision to apply any "revenue funds" to continuing to provide High Standard Accommodation & Farm Produce (rather than update IT systems) > we feel confident that our lovely Accommodation Guests, Farm Shop & Shop Online Customers will understand and appreciate this decision. We are continuing to investigate better (cost-effective) online booking options, in order to keep our Accommodation Rates as attractive as possible.
